We're excited to announce that Rivin.ai has closed a pre-seed funding round led by Jason Calacanis and Launch Fund, one of the most active early-stage venture firms in the country. The investment will accelerate our mission to build the definitive intelligence infrastructure for the Walmart marketplace — starting with the enterprise brands, data providers, and agencies that need it most.

Walmart Marketplace has quietly become one of the largest and fastest-growing e-commerce ecosystems in North America — but the data infrastructure around it hasn't kept pace. Enterprise brands are managing pricing integrity, MAP compliance, and competitive positioning across thousands of SKUs with fragmented tools. Agencies running multi-brand Walmart portfolios lack the unified intelligence layer their clients demand. Data providers embedding marketplace coverage into their own platforms have no reliable Walmart source to build on.

What We're Building

Rivin is a full-stack Walmart intelligence platform.   • Oversight — autonomous 24/7 monitoring for Buy Box shifts, price suppression, unauthorized sellers, and MAP violations. The brand protection layer that enterprise teams have been missing on Walmart.
  • Singular Intelligence — deep-dive SKU analysis with full price history, seller landscape, ranking decomposition, and sales velocity. The competitive lens for brand managers and category strategists.
  • Chrome Extension — a real-time data overlay on every Walmart product page for instant analysis while browsing.

Enterprise Traction

Rivin has been designed and validated alongside billion-dollar enterprise partners including HanesBrands and ACE Hardware, as well as other major brands and agencies who depend on our data to protect pricing integrity, enforce MAP compliance, monitor unauthorized sellers, and make faster merchandising decisions across the Walmart marketplace.

We're also working with data providers who are embedding Rivin's Walmart coverage into their own analytics platforms — giving their customers a data source that didn't exist before. The Walmart data gap isn't just a problem for individual brands; it's a gap in the entire ecosystem of tools and platforms that serve commerce.

Our founder Emiliano travels to Bentonville roughly a week every month, working directly with Walmart teams and staying deeply embedded in the ecosystem. That proximity shapes everything we build — from the data surfaces we prioritize to the brand protection and compliance features enterprise teams depend on.

What This Round Means

This funding will be used to scale our data infrastructure and expand our core customer base. Specifically, we're investing in:

  • Data coverage and ingestion — expanding real-time coverage across more Walmart categories and deepening the fidelity of our competitive intelligence layer so brands and agencies can monitor their entire catalog with confidence.
  • Platform infrastructure — hardening the API for data providers building on top of us, scaling our ingestion pipelines, and shipping the full authenticated product experience.
  • Customer acquisition— growing our enterprise pipeline with the brands, agencies, and data platforms that need Walmart intelligence at the level of rigor they've been missing.
